180 Migrants Rescued İn Aegean Waters

– Off Bodrum and Datça coasts in Aegean province of Muğla, 180 migrants in two boats have escaped death risk, as the engineer of their boats got broken and their boats begun to take on water. The groups were in attempt to cross into Greek island of Kos illegally, in 16-meter-long and 10-meter-long two.

– Off Bodrum and Datça coasts in Aegean province of Muğla, 180 migrants in two boats have escaped death risk, as the engineer of their boats got broken and their boats begun to take on water.

The groups were in attempt to cross into Greek island of Kos illegally, in 16-meter-long and 10-meter-long two fishing boats, and their journey was disrupted off Kumburnu and Kardamena regions, as the old boats failed to move forward.

Greek frigate and coast guard teams launched a rescue operation for the 180 migrants.

Two Turkish coast guard boat deployed in Turgutreis district of Bodrum in Muğla also headed to the scene.

The Greek webstite www.defencenet.gr announced that the migrants have been brought to the island of Kos.
