One of the two police officers who were attacked and severly wounded in the Şehitlik neighborhood of southeastern Diyarbakır province has died, officials announced.
Both of the officers were severely wounded while patrolling, when a terrorist group laid an ambush and opened fire over them at around 15.00 Turkish time. The police officers were hospitalized to the Dicle University Hospital in the province.
