TPAO's Fatih Drillship starts drilling at Amasra-3

Turkey's state-owned oil company TPAO announced that its pride, Fatih Drillship, has started drilling at Amasra-3. The tweet from TPAO's Twitter account stated that the new exploration well in the Sakarya Gas Field has begun with the goal of achieving energy independence for Turkey through continued land and sea exploration efforts. Fatih, Turkey's first national drillship, joined TPAO's inventory in 2017.

TPAO'nun Twitter hesabından yapılan paylaşımda, "Türkiye'nin gururu Fatih, Amasra-3'te! Fatih Sondaj Gemisi, Sakarya Gaz Sahası'ndaki yeni tespit kuyusu Amasra-3'te sondaja başladı. Enerjide Bağımsız Türkiye hedefiyle karada ve denizde arama çalışmalarımız devam ediyor." ifadesi kullanıldı.
Türkiye'nin ilk milli sondaj gemisi olan Fatih, 2017'de TPAO envanterine katılmıştı.
