106 Migrants Escapes Suffocating İn Rig On Way To Bulgaria

Some 106 migrants of Syrian origin including 45 children were found in a rig trailer on the edge of suffocating in the vehicle. The group was seeking to cross in to Bulgaria through Turkey's Edirne province, reports said. Driver of the rig carrying loads to Bulgaria, along with some three others including an escort and a Bulgarian were detained, after being caught by Edirne gendarmerie teams following a tip-off. The migrants seeking to cross into Europe in a vehicle with Bulgarian license plate illegally were brought to a nearby hospital for medical controls. The migrants having risked death to leave Turkey were sent to a shelter house of Edirne Police Department Migration Directorate.
