Fire department wakens young boy as parents get locked out

Özgür Okumuş/ Zonguldak, Aug 24 (DHA) - In Ereğli district of Black Sea province in Zonguldak, parents of a 17-year-old boy had to call the fire department for help, as they got locked out.

When the young boy absently locked the door inside and then sounded asleep, his parents having got back to their apartment after market shopping could not manage to waken their son up.

As father Ercan U. and his wife telephoned the fire department for help, the father, fire officers and a police officer entered the apartment on the fourth floor through the balcony, on a fire brigade truck using the fire escape, since their efforts to waken up the boy got no return either. Finally the parents managed to enter their house, and the police left the scene after having completed their 'mission' and taken the minutes down.
