Clashes at Turkey-Syria border give way to silence near Kilis province

Reşit Çelebioğlu/Kilis, Aug 14 (DHA) - After clashes between ISIL militants and opposition forces near Syria'a northern Havar Village across Turkey's Seve Village in southeastern Kilis province that have sparked on August 13, the region returned to its silence.

ISIL militants had targeted to seize the Bab al-Salam border gate across Turkey's Öncüpınar custom gate which has sparked intense clashes. Heavy seucity measures have been taken, while the clashes and raising smoke feared the inhabitants in Kilis.
