Uraloğlu, who has a background in civil engineering and has served as the General Director of Highways, has contributed to the development of Turkey's road network and the implementation of various infrastructure projects. The Turkish State Meteorological Service's warning against a heavy storm has led Turkish Airlines (THY) to cancel 103 flights. Ferry trips to Gökçeada and Bozcaada have also been canceled. These conditions are expected to last until Feb. 3. The General Directorate of State Airports Authority and various airline companies took precautions against heavy storms and raining, expected to be effective Jan. 30 onward after 5 pm in the Marmara region. Estimated to reach 100 km/h, the storm has led the THY to cancel a total of 103 domestic and international flights. All canceled flights were announced on THY's official website.
