American Sportsman Died While Base Jumping İn Eastern Turkey

An American base jumper died, after an accident happened while jumping from a rocky mountain in eastern Turkish province of Erzincan on Tuesday.

Ian Flanders, an American base jumper known as  "Batman" had an accident when the ropes of his parachute were wrapped around his legs and fell on steep rocks, after diving into the air from the summit of a rocky mountain of 2,500 metres altitude, as part of Wingsuit Exit jumpings.

Flanders was attending to International Nature Sports Festival in Erzincan, with his American collegues Scatty Bob, Matt Blank and Austrian Edi Cuschall, as a base jumper team visiting Turkey first time ever for a Wingsuit Exit show.
