Turkey Decıdes To Gıve Addıtıonal Support To Exporters

Turkey increases the incentives for marketing to the exporter companies by more than 50 times, including flights and accommodation, according to a communique published on the Offcial Gazette on Friday.

The exporters would receive 75 percent of each of their international activities for marketing costs upto 150 thousand dollars, each of 10 total travels on annual basis, which would sum up to 1.125 million dollars.

The exporter companies would also receive incentives for their costs to invite and host foreign buyers to the country. The incentives would be 75 percent of 100 thousand dollars for each visit of two guests, 10 times a year on annual basis, which would sum up to 0.75 million dollars.

With both incentives, exporter companies would receive upto 1.875 million dollars on annual basis for their marketing activities both abroad and in the country, which was anly at 35 thousand dollars before.

The incentives will be including domestic and international transportation costs of two staff and two guest, flight, boat, bus or car rental fees. The companies also would receive incentives on hotel costs of two staff and two guest, limited at 300 dollars per day. - Istanbul
