At least 10 killed in blast at in Şanlıurfa, Suruç bordering Syria

Şanlıurfa, July 20 (DHA) - An explosion has erupted in Suruç, district of Şanlıurfa on Turkey's border with Syria, leaving at least 10 people dead and 45 people wounded.

At least 10 people were killed and 45 were hospitalized, in an explosion caused by an unknown reason. Ambulances and rescue teams were sent to the scene. Also backing police teams from Şanlıurfa town center were deployed to the area.

At around 11.50 am, during the press announcement at a summer expedition held by the Federation of Socialist Youth Associations (SGDF), a blast occurred killing 10 people. According to the initial detections of the blast alleged to be caused by a suicide bomber. The glasses of buildings around the scene were broken.
