Turkey's Intangible Cultural Heritage Kitabı

This catalogue, which is titled Turkey's Intangible Cultural Heritage, was prepared by taking into consideration the objectives and principles of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, which was accepted in 2003 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco). In this book, the oral expressions and traditions of the Turkish culture, the performing arts, societal practices, feasts and festivals, knowledge and practices related to nature and the universe and the products formed in the field of handicrafts are included with an approach, which aims to create an awareness of how quickly these are being lost from our daily lives trough very different factors, such as urbanization, technological changes and insensitivity in the field of education.
