400-year-old Mulberry Tree Supported By Concrete Upholder İn Turkey's Gaziantep

In İslahiye district of southeastern province of Gaziantep, the district municipality has erected an upholder made from concrete to support a four-century-old mulberry tree.

Having noticed that the mulberry tree in Milli Egemenlik Park was under danger of falling down, the municipality installed a concrete support, to uphold the tree's body. In order to maintain the harmony of the mulberry tree with nature, the support was painted in color and texture of the tree.
