Qualification documents for five regional airports in Philippines, within a project raising rights for operations and maintenance at the airports in question, on August 17.
TAV Airports made a statement to Public Disclosure Platform and announced "The Consortium formed by Aéroports de Paris Management SA (ADPM), a subsidiary of Aéroports de Paris, and Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC), along with our company have submitted its today its pre-qualification documents of bidding for a project consisting of the operations and maintenance of the Bacolod-Silay, Iloilo, Davao, Laguindingan and New Bohol-Panglao (Tagbilaran) airports, within public-private partnership.
Within the Philippine Airports Consortium, along with ADPM, Turkey's TAV Airport Company will have a share of 40 percent, and MPIC will have a share of 60 percent.
The five airports in question have served around 9 million passengers in 2014.
The statement of TAV adds that the Consortium members have also reached an agreement to cooperate in potential privatization projects to be held in Philippines' other airports. - Istanbul
