No Compromise İn Tunisia: Ugtt's Abbasi

The president of The Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) Huseyn Al-Abbasi said the three way coalition government did not accept the opposition's offer for the solution of the political crisis.

Abbasi met with representitives of the parties in the triple coalition government.

"There must be dialogue between the coalition and opposition. Everybody can give up their claims for the interests of the country," Abbas said.

Abbasi also stated that the related institutions will come together to discuss the isuue.

Anti-government demonstrations were held after the July 25 assassination of the deputy of the opposition, Mohamad Al-Brahmi, demanded the repealing of the government.

The opposition has put forth the repealing of the Tunisian National Constituent Assembly and the establishment of "the national liberation government" as a solution to the crisis. - Ankara
