Turkish Airlines To Restart Sharm El-Sheikh Flights

Turkish Airlines has announced that its flights to Sharm el-Sheikh has been restarted from Nov. 6, after a decision to suspend flights.

A deadly plane crash of Russian airliner in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula has killed 224 people, while the government has said an explosive device could have been planted on the plane, triggering security concerns and travel restrictions.

Turkey has suspended its flight to the region, following the announcements of the U.K. and Netherlands to take similar measures.

Passengers will not face any restrictions in terms of travels and luggage said Turkish Airlines.

Around 20,000 British tourists have had to fly back from Sharm el-Sheikh with their hand luggage, while the luggage were said to be sent back by a government agency, set to be returned by courier within seven days, over tight security restrictions declared by the U.K. government. - Istanbul
