Video) Bank Robber Caught Via Followup-to Surveillance Footage

The police caught a bank robber in three weeks time, by examining the footage of surveillance camera system of the municipality and the shops around.

The police said, bank robber was followed till his house by using the footage of the surveillance cameras, installed in the streets and the shop doors. The robbery moment was recorded by the bank's camera system.

The robber and his house were identified by examining "hundreds of hours" of surveillance footages and the robber was taken under custody after an operation, the police added.

Yavuz H. (37) seized 26 thousand liras (9.600 dollars) from the bank, where he burst in with a pump-rifle on June 17 and escaped. The bank personnel and the customers got in a panic during the robbery.
