Around 10,000 refugees have been placed in tent cities in the Syrian side close to Turkey border, having reached the region after days of walk with their families and heavy loads.

"Now 10,000 new refugees are waiting in front of the door of Kilis (Turkey's border town) because of air bombardment and attacks against Aleppo" Davutoğlu has said at the donor conference in London on Feb. 4, referring to alleged attacks of regime forces backed by Russia.

"Right now, my heart is with my country's border. I am thinking of how and where we will need to locate the people coming from Syria" he has added.

Meanwhile, security measures have been tightened at the border, where tens of thousands are expected. Accordingly, some NGOs are preparing for humanitarian aid to refugees at the border.

Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD) officers will be registering refugees at the customs area where tents were installed, local reports said.

The refugees flocking to the border have not been allowed to Turkey, while groups have been waiting near wire clothes across Kilis.

In Kilis, permits of police and military officers have been lifted until further notice, due to mobilization near the border.

Davutoğlu has reiterated during the donor conference that the country had so far spent 10 billion dollars for Syrians who have been placed in refugee camps in Turkey.

Erdoğan: No hopes from Geneva

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan reaffirmed the refugee wave during his visit to the capital of Ecuador Kito on Feb. 4, where he slammed Europe's demand from Turkey to stop the flow from Syria.

"Where will these people go? The world who fails to stop these attacks wants us to stop the refugee flow" said Erdoğan speaking in a press conference with Ecuadorian counterpart Rafael Correa. Erdoğan defined this approach as "irrational" and devoid of any sorts of strategies.

"The Geneva agreement has recently been halted. Does anyone have hope from Geneva?" Turkish President urged.
