Industrial Production Up By 1.7 Percent İn February

Seasonally and calendar adjusted industrial production increased by 1.7 percent compared with the previous month, according the data released by Turkstat on Wednesday.

Calendar adjusted industrial production rose by 1.0 percent compared with the same month last year, Turkstat said in the statement on the Industrial Pruduction data.

Mining and quarrying index increased by 5.8 percent, manufacturing index increased by 1.7 percent and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 0.3 percent in February 2015, compared with the previous month.

While mining and quarrying index decreased by 0.7 percent, manufacturing index increased by 0.7 percent and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 3.2 percent in February 2015, compared with the same month last year. - Istanbul
