Migrants stay the night at Istanbul bus station, as bus companies refuse to sell ticket

Hayati Kılıç - Soner Hasırcıoğlu/ İstanbul, Sep 16 (DHA) - Migrants having started waiting at Istanbul's largest bus station on Sep 15 after being refused by bus companies to purchase ticket in attempt to cross into Europe, had to spend the night at the station.
While the migrants spent the night in the station, the red rescent in Turkey offered food and water to the migrants. Riot police officers? security measures continue in the region.
Migrants of Syrian origin in attempt to cross into Greece illegally through highways have flocked to the massive bus terminal in Bayrampaşa district of Istanbul, after their "journey of hope" was, this time, hindered on land route, on Sep. 15.
Hundreds of Syrians, mostly children and women, have been waiting at the terminal, after bus companies departing for Thrace provinces have refused to sell tickets to Syrians.
After the deadly migrant boat disasters killing thousands off the Aegean waters, migrants have set eye on the highways to cross into Greece and then other European countries.
