Turkey's year-end inflation expectation falls to 6.77 percent in February, from 6.82 percent in January, according the results of the survey of expectations, released on Friday.
Month ahead consumer price inflation expectations rose to 0.49 percent, from 0.41 percent over the same period, while consumer price inflation expectations rose to 0.56 percent to 0.61 percent over the same period. Consumer price inflation expectations for April stood at 0.73 percent.
Year-end dollar rate expectations rose to 2.50 percent in February, from 2.41 lira in January and end of next 12-month dollar rate expectations rose to 2.54 lira from 2.44 lira over the same period.
Turkey's current account deficit expectations for the end of current year fell to 40.3 billion dollars from 41.4 billion dollars, while current account deficit expectations for the end of 2016 rose to 44.6 billion dollars from 44.4 billion dollars.
Expectations for Turkey's 2015 gross domestic production (GDP) rose slightly to 3.5 percent in February, from 3.4 percent in January, while GDP growth rate expectations for 2016 remained at 3.8 percent over the same period. - Istanbul
