(Video) Drivers On Istanbul's Highway Volunteer To Transport Migrants To Greek Border Gate

Inhabitants driving on the TEM highway have helped migrants resuming their march towards the Edirne border gate, seeking to cross into Greece and then European countries.

Drivers stopped at the roadsides where migrants have been camping, marching and protesting to cross border gates, and volunteered to take families, women and children in particular, in their cars and trucks to help them reach Edirne.

For instance a driver invited a group of 25 migrants marching on foot with their luggage, bags and children, to his panel van.

Mother abandons child to save him, as truck's capacity fails to carry her

A Syrian women had to abandon his 5-6 year old child in the car, in tears, because there were no place for the mother in the van.

The child refused to leave her mother, burst into tears, while the car left behind the mourning woman.
