Grammy-awarded Diana Krall Marks Istanbul Nights

Five-time Grammy Award-winning jazz pianist and vocalist Diana Krall has performed in Istanbul within the "Good Music in Town" concerts, on Oct. 28.

Sponsered by Yapı Kredi Bank and organized by IEG Live ve Piu Entertainment, Diana Krall was on the stage of Zorlu Concert Hall.

Krall opened the concert by saying "Hello Istanbul", while the performance dazzled jazz enthousiasts along with many famous names.

One of the most successful jazz artists across the globe, Diana Krall is the only jazz singer to have eight albums debuting at the top of the Billboard Jazz Albums. To date, she has won five Grammy Awards and eight Juno Awards. She has also earned nine gold, three platinum, and seven multi-platinum albums.

Krall's twelfth studio album Wallflower features pop classics including the Mamas and Papas' California Dreamin', Eagles' Desperado, Jim Croce's Operator, Crowded House's Don't Dream It's Over and Bob Dylan's Wallflower.

Within the "Good Music in Town" concert series, Istanbulites will have the chance to watch Sinatra&Friends at Zorlu Hall, while André Rieu, "The King of Waltz", will play at Arena in Ankara on March 10, then at Istanbul Ulker Arena on March 12.
