House Sales İn Turkey Fell By 1.7 Percent İn January

House sales in Turkey fell by 1.7 percent in January, compared to the same month of the previous year, while mortgage sales rose by 3.5 percent over the same period.

In Turkey, house sales fell 1.7 percent to 86,167 units in January, while 33,178 ownership of the houses changed by mortgage sales, by increasing 3.5 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.

New house sales in Turkey fell by 5.4 percent to 37,971 units while second hand house sales rose by 1.5 percent to became 48,196 units, in January on annual basis.

In January total 1,289 houses were sold to foreigners, including, 392 units in Antalya, followed by İstanbul with 377 house sales, Yalova with 95 house sales, Bursa with 81 house sales, Aydın with 63 house sales and Sakarya with 49 house sales. - Istanbul
