Who is Funda Sezgi

Born in 1980 in Turkey, Funda holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from IESE Business School, Barcelona, Spain. Currently, she works as the Program Manager at Impact Hub Stockholm, Sweden, where she has been mainly responsible for identifying the 300 successful social innovations in Europe through Benisi Project and scaling up the selected ones through Impact Hub Scaling Programme. Funda also remains an active management trainer affiliated to Turkish and Egyptian universities, delivering executive trainings on topics such as strategic management and international businesses. In her doctoral research,Funda focused on organizational structures and routines essential for social enterprises to scale their social impact without mission drifts. Funda spent one academic term as a visiting student at Victoria University of Australia during her undergraduate studies; and one academic term as a visiting scholar at Stanford University during her graduate studies.Funda has further experience as a strategy consultant and a market analyst.
