Syrian aircraft crashes 50 km off Turkey- Syria border
Ramazan Çelik- Ferhat Dervişoğlu/ Hatay, August 3 (DHA) - A Syrian military aircraft has crashed on August 3, in 50 km distance to Hatay border gate of Turkey. The crash on a market square in İdlib district of Syria has left at least 30 killed and 70 wounded, locals reported. Some of the buildings at the market place were demolished, while parts of the aircraft dispersed around.
The Assad regime had lost its control over the rebel-held Ariha town and in the past three months, the city has been run by the Al Nusra Front. The official announcement has not been made yet regarding the cause of crash. After the incident, wounded people were brought to hospitals that are under the rule of rebels.
