Acquısıtıon Of Dosu Maya By French Group Is Completed

Turkish Competition Authority confirmed the acquisition of Dosu Maya, the yeast manufacturing subsidiary of Yildiz Holding, by French yeast and fermentation developer Lesaffre Group, according to a joint statement released by both companies, on Monday.

The plant, located in Lüleburgaz, 140 kilometers North–West of Istanbul in the Western Turkey, supplies fresh yeast for the local market and exports dry yeast to several countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa, employing more than 200 people.

The new acquisition would enable Lesaffre to enhance its presence in Turkey, said Antoine Baule, Lesaffre CEO, in the statement, to pursue its development strategy in one of the growing part of the world.

"All Dosu Maya's customers will benefit from Lesaffre quality and services and particularly from the support of its technical assistance provided by its Baking Center™ located in Istanbul" he said and added:
