Istanbul city hosts Grammy awarded Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias

Emel Gökbulut/ Istanbul, Aug 20 (DHA) ' Spain's world renowned singer, songwriter and actor Enrique Iglesias has taken stage in Istanbul's Küçükçiftlik Park, within his international tour called 'Sex&Love' on Aug. 19.

Iglesias met a fan crowd of 12,000 people, after two hours of delay, at 22.00 p.m. International fans flocked to the concert area, in t-shirts with Iglesias's picture. A fan's banner even read "Please meet us!".

While the singer marked Istanbul nights with his dazzling performance and dance shows, Iglesias started to play drums at some point, and even accidentally hit a fan on the head when he threw the drumstick to the crowd.

'You are all beautiful, so is the Istanbul city. Both at night and in the morning...' shouted Iglesias while opening the concert, and marked the performance with several surprises to his fans. A fan even had the chance to sing the song "Stand by Me" with the star, on the stage.
