Sancar's Nobel Prize Would Mark A Source Of Hope: Güler Sabancı - Son Dakika
Sabancı Holding Chairwoman and Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Turkey's Sabancı University, Güler Sabancı, has congratulated Aziz Sancar, the second Nobel laureate of Turkey, who has won the prize in chemistry, for his work on mapping how cells repair damaged DNA.
"The Nobel Prize offered to Professor Aziz Sancar has filled us with pride and happiness. As Aziz Sancar has also declared, this prize is a success of the Republic" said Güler Sabancı in her message.
Sabanci added she had faith that this prize would also mark a source of hope and inspiration for young scientists working in the field.
