EDGE'in röportaj yaptığı Seamus Blackley'nin açıklamasına göre konsolun bildiğimiz adı olan Xbox öncesi, Microsoft bazı legal sebeplerden dolayı farklı isimler talep etmiş. Merkezine Microsoft'un alındığı bu enteresan ad listesi oldukça garip önerilere de sahip.
