Ergün Ayaz/ İzmit, Aug 17 (DHA) - In northwestern province of Kocaeli, İzmit Municipality held an awareness campaign as Turkey marks 16th anniversary of August 17, 1999 quake. Under the slogan of 'çök, kapan cling, hold on to life' in 25 zones of the town, applied trainings were held and quake tents were installed .
Within the trainings, students crouched down under tables, clinging, learning how to protect themselves during a potential quake, after the siren sound sparked during drill.
